CIS GALICIA is a technological centre whose aim is to increase the innovation capacity of Galician industries, thus improving their competitiveness through the generation and application of technology and knowledge.

CIS GALICIA has participated as a technology partner in several R & D project not only at regional and national level but also at European level. It has also provided services to companies in different sectors such as automotive, marine, audiovisual, energy, ...

CIS GALICIA was founded on 29th July 1995 under IGAPE. It belongs to Fundación para o Fomento da Calidade Industrial e o Desenvolvemento Tecnolóxico de Galicia since 1998.

Workshop 'Marie Curie actions for SME'. On 7th June 2012 CIS GALICIA is going to organise a workshop called ‘ MARIE CURIE ACTIONS FOR SMEs: HOW TO WRITE a successful proposal of ITN or IAPP’ More relevant questions will be discussed so that participants know about how to prepare proposals for the next calls. IAPP (“Industry Academy Pathway Partnership”) promotes cooperation between research organizations and private companies (especially PEMEs) for the development of a joint scientific program through the exchange of personnel (researchers, technicians and managers) in any subject area. ITN (Initial Training Networks) are networks of private organizations and universities working together that are funded to train researchers to improve their research skills and entrepreneurial character, to help them to join established research teams and improve their career prospects.
